It is strange just when and where inspiration to start a self-project strikes me. For example, my intent, the night before, to go to bed early quickly vanished just before I started to shut things down. Immersed in fine tuning a band photograph for the hair metal band Gun Slinger in Adobe Photoshop CS4, I lost track of time. This immersion, where in which nothing exists around me, is usually when I find myself going off on tangents with the projects. Either I am exploring “what-ifs” or I suddenly see a new perspective. That night, I seen a “What-if” and went with it. By the time I arrived at a point I could break free, I had totally missed my bed time. I had overshot it about eight hours. Here I am, ready to crash on the bumpy futon, and my Wheaton Terrier (Amadeus) is ready for his morning walk.
